A few days ago. I was invited for off-shore big game in Spain. I'm very interested in it. But, I could not arrange my schedule and budget...... On the other hand, there are 2 guys who arranged to fish at the out side of their country, Turkey. They visited Tokyo to fish seabass and buy fishing stuff in Japan. Wow!!
I went fishing with them for 2 days. On the first day, they seemed they were confused to fish Japanese seabass because of the location. They usually fish seabass at less than 1 meter shallow area in Turkey. This time, we started fishing at 20m deep area. Mmmmmm, very different.
But, seabass feeds baitfish near the surface of water even the depth is 20m. So, we don't have to change the lure selection. I brought some lures for them, but they caught most fish by the lures they brought from Turkey. They were Japanese lures such as ima and Daiwa anyway.
Maybe they caught 20 to 25 seabass within the 2 days. The most fish were caught by Shore Line Shiner SL12F, XeXlide 90 and ZBL 9F Tidal. 20 to 25 is not good result for this season. Usually we can catch more and bigger in October, but the season has been delayed because of the sizzling hot summer.
After the fishing, we had a lunch together. And I was surprised. They were already planning the next visit to Tokyo in the next year!! Well.... I will have to go fishing more and will have to find more fish and patterns for these crazy guests.
